Hey Queen,
My name is Kate. I am a Nurse, Mom, Wife, and entrepreneur.
I have been a Nurse since 2015. I have worked in many different floors and settings within the hospital. Anywhere from ICU to IR.
I have done it all. I understand where you are coming from, and have been there before. I was that burned-out, overworked, stressed-out, overstimulated woman who knew she wanted something different. But what the hell do you do?
At first, I thought the answer was to go back to school. And I did.
I have my bachelor’s and am 1 class away from completing my DFNP.
Why am I here then?
Because more school was not the answer. I needed to do the work and figure out what my next steps were.
what did I actually want?
This podcast and site are the fruits of all my labors. I found that what I really wanted was to create a business. Something that will give me value in the world. Where others could come and find hope.
My promise is to always inspire and motivate you to reach for more. Listen to yourself and what “you” is saying. You do not have to stay where you are because someone said that it was a really good job and that you are helping patients.
You did not waste your time, you are right where you should be. Now is the perfect time.
My Timeline
Well, Over the last few years, I have been on this huge self-development journey. I was just so sick of feeling jaded and angry at work. I dread having to go to work, with a pit in my stomach.
I was done with it all, I felt that I needed to fix something.
So I started reading and finding journals and podcasts. Really drowning myself in self-development but ya know what I didn’t find.
Self-development that really understood women, nurses, and mothers’ perspectives. or really the medical field in general.
We have a really specific set of traumas that we have dealt with or not dealt with. Either way, we have seen situations that many don’t ever have to experience. Mindsets that are so ingrained in us that many just don’t understand unless you’re a nurse.
Nurses who are moms have a whole different set of obstacles, with 12-hour shifts, daycare, mom guilt, really I could keep going.
So to sum this all up. I am here to offer you self-develop catered to RN moms (I have to watch saying nursing moms, don’t google it you’ll get a lot of boobs).
Takeaways

Let Me Prove To You Why You Can
Traditional Nursing is just not what I want to contribute to the world anymore. I do not feel guilty for saying this. I have come that far.
My passion is to help nurses who feel the same as I did. Nurses who have a little part of them want more in life. There are a lot of people out there telling you that you are ungrateful and hurting your patients if you leave bedside with a shortage.
Who is caring for you?
You have to save yourself in order to save others.
Don’t grind yourself into the ground, they just think of you as another number.
This podcast is not a leave-bedside nursing rant it just letting you know that it’s okay to dream of something more.
Hey if you have no idea what you want you are in the right place. I have created tools that will help you work through everything and build that dream life clearly.
Making it easier to pinpoint what steps you want to take and how you can transform your life into the life you want to live.
