My name is Kate, I am a Nurse, Mom, Wife, and Entrepreneur.

I have been a nurse since 2015. My experience ranges anywhere from ICU to IR. So I completely understand where you’re coming from, and I’ve been there before. I was that burned-out, overworked, stressed-out, overstimulated working mom who knew I wanted something different. But had no idea how in the hell I was going to make that happen.
At first, I thought the answer was to go back to school. And I did.
However, after almost completing my DFNP, I realized I needed to do some inner work. After pouring myself into everything self-development, I finally figured it out.
This podcast and site are the fruits of all my labors. I must share with you what I have found to save you from feeling the same way I was.

Part 2 Of The Refocus Series
Okay, last week I talked about finding fulfillment and using the wheel of life to assess where you are. I am very obsessed with knowing where I am, It helps me figure out a plan to move forward. Essentially, it’s why I created the Clarity Course to begin with. I am so focused on making my vision a reality that I don’t want you or anyone else to be lost in the dark like I was.
I believe that to develop a real plan that gets you to your end goal, you gotta know what you’re working with. A lot of the times when I complete the wheel of life I get micro-focused on certain details. When in the grand picture of things, that section of my life may be doing great. Maybe I need a few more date nights or something super simple that I can add in that would boost that section.
Yet, other sections landed me in a state of confusion about what the next step should be.

Journaling
Now, last week I also suggested using the wheel of life in a manner that involved you journaling about each section and where you saw yourself or building your vision. The key to this exercise and building up that wheel, is for you to dream. Dreaming is essential to you reaching big goals and feeling fulfilled in life. Releasing any judgments or criticism from this dream helps you unleash your true vision. I cannot tell you how many people tell me “Well, yeah I would love to vacation 3 times a year, but when is that going to happen that’s not realistic.”
It’s a dream for a reason. If It was simple and required minimal change from your current situation then I guess we wouldn’t be here.
This dream isn’t meant to happen tomorrow. So reach for the stars. When you keep yourself small and realistic this is when you end up in hot water and your potential is wasted. So let’s not play small, because I know you’re here for a reason. Let’s go after it. Get crazy on these sections and reach for that out-of-the-world dream.

My Unique Stepping Stone Method
Here is where the magic happened with this stepping-stone method. What you are going to do after you have dreamed up the perfect life in each section, You’re going to highlight a few areas that would make you feel a 10/10 in the section.
These things don’t have to be big, they need to make you feel like a 10/10. Maybe you would like to run a marathon and that would make you feel like you’re the healthiest you have ever been.
Let’s run with this example for a minute, cause it’s easy for people to picture this. Okay, you have a 10/10 goal to run a marathon, you’re going to break down that into steps.

I know it sounds so simple and like duh but the problem is people do not look at big career goals like this. They let the big dream overwhelm them and they sum it up to being unrealistic and they never work toward their goals. I mean do you lose 40 lbs in a day? No, it takes time trial and error, and hard work. So if you want your life to change and you want to see your career as a multi 7 figure entrepreneur, you have to start taking the baby steps needed to get to that goal.

My stepping stone method is unique to me, and I will tell you the support you will get when you sign up for a coaching membership or the Clarity Course is what helps break though your blocks.
Sometimes you need that third person to shed light and gain clarity in a situation. I can tell you from experience that when you want something so badly, you can develop tunnel vision that causes you to miss solutions. If you’ve been working toward some goals but you’re not seeing results I suggest gaining access to me. I give you that third person with experience in your situation to help you work through the blocks.
